2.05.070 Naming of facilities.

The naming of all city facilities shall be the sole responsibility and authority of the mayor and council and shall be accomplished in one of the following manners:
A. Adoption of a resolution setting forth the name of the facility; or
B. Designation of an advisory board or appointment of an advisory committee with guidelines and parameters to be used by the committee to provide recommendations to the mayor and council who shall then decide, by resolution, on the name of the facility. [Code 2004 § 2-15.]
