A. It shall be a violation of this chapter to activate an alarm system for the purpose of summoning law enforcement when no burglary, robbery, or other crime dangerous to life or property is being committed or attempted on the premises, or otherwise to cause a false alarm.

B. It shall be a violation of this chapter to install, maintain, or use an audible alarm system which can sound continually for more than 10 minutes.

C. It shall be a violation of this chapter to make false statements on the alarm permit application and may be grounds for nonissuance of an alarm permit. [Ord. 10-03 § 1; Res. 10-13 § 1; Ord. 18-07 § 1; Res. 18-22; Code 2004 Art. 10-4(e).]
