A. Use of Certain Lighting Prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to operate within the city any incandescent or arc-type searchlight, beacon light or similar lighting device designed to and capable of projecting a beam of light into the sky unless allowed by MCC Title 18 or other zoning ordinance applicable to the city, or permission is obtained from the council.
