The manager may appoint one or more assistant or deputy city managers who shall serve at the pleasure of the manager and shall have such duties as may be delegated by the city manager. Any reference to assistant city manager throughout this code shall include any assistant or deputy city managers appointed by the manager. [Ord. 22-08 § 1.]
