In lieu of establishing or maintaining a city of Maricopa fire/medical department, the city may enter into an intergovernmental agreement or contract for the provision of fire protection services within the incorporated boundaries of the city. [Ord. 18-09 § 1; Res. 18-24; Code 2004 § 3-121.]
